The equity team is the structure composed of teacher leaders and the lead administrator who monitors school-wide goals related to race and equity. While keeping the focus on the importance of relationships, school equity teams guide continued conversations about race, evaluate school progress and communicate results to the respective school community. Additionally, equity teams lead the on-going professional development related to race and equity within schools.
